Motivo LA is a cultural home for dance, live performance and meaningful gatherings in Atwater Village. Our Ballroom pairs floating hickory floors, golden lighting and plush lounge seating with a Yamaha C6 grand piano, professional sound and theatrical lighting.

Pricing & how booking works
Rentals start at $450/h with a 5-hour minimum, and 10% off bookings of 8 hours or more.

We reply within 1-3 days with availability and a quote.
Schedule a walkthrough of the space.
Sign the rental agreement and pay a non-refundable deposit to hold your date (see cancellation policy below).
FAQ
Can we serve alcohol?
Alcohol is never sold on site and is not served at public events. For private celebrations, we're happy to talk through bar options with you.
Do you offer bar service?
Yes, hosted bar services are available. Please inquire for details and pricing.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes. Outside food and beverage vendors are welcome for a $450 vendor and cleaning fee. Prep and bar counters are available for staging; there is no cooking on site, so plan for food that arrives ready to serve.
Do you provide event staff?
Event staffing is available on request.
Is cleaning included?
Standard cleaning is included. Events with outside food or beverage service carry the $450 vendor and cleaning fee.
Is the piano tuned before live music events?
Tuning is available for an additional fee when requested in advance.
Do you provide a sound engineer?
House sound and standard microphones are included. A sound engineer, extra microphones or specialty audio are quoted based on your schedule and technical needs.
What is your cancellation policy?
A non-refundable deposit is required to book. For the remaining balance: full refund 30+ days before your event, 50% refund 7–30 days before, and no refund within 7 days.
Can we visit first?
Yes, walkthroughs are available by appointment.
