Winners of UCLA’s Call for New Works in both the Music of Armenia and World Jazz/Intercultural Improvisation categories, they bring a fresh and compelling voice to contemporary chamber music.
Recent highlights include their global debut at the Union of Architects in Yerevan, Armenia, and a featured performance in the Jewel City Concert Series in California.
Percussionist Artashes Sinanyan, a composer and educator at East Los Angeles College, is well known for inventing the unique setup of Percussion Instruments. Pianist Zhanna Sinanyan is celebrated for her expressive touch and collaborations across Europe and the U.S, as well as her own original compositions. Violinist Ani Sinanyan has performed in a wide range of ensembles and venues, including an early appearance at Carnegie Hall.
