May is "Frankie Month," a period dedicated to celebrating the contributions of Frankie Manning, a legendary Lindy Hop dancer and choreographer. This month is particularly important as it includes Manning's birthday on May 26th, which is also recognized as World Lindy Hop Day. Lindy Hop communities worldwide organize events, celebrations, and educational initiatives throughout May to honor Frankie Manning and his legacy in Lindy Hop.
