Grand Opening!
Join us for the grand opening of Club Velvet - a night of live music, dancing, and community in a space made for it all. We’re kicking things off with the incredible Dave Stuckey & the Hot House Gang, plus a pre-dance workshop led by two legends of swing, Nick Williams and Sylvia Sykes.
The venue, Motivo LA, features beautiful floating dance floors and a vintage flair that feels right at home with the music of the era. We’re excited to open our doors and share a night that’s all about connection, movement, and great music - nothing more, nothing less.

About the Venue:
Tucked into the heart of Atwater Village, this vintage-inspired space offers 2,000 square feet of sprung hardwood floors made for dancing. High ceilings, golden lighting, and velvet drapery set the tone: warm, refined, and ready for movement.
