Not a dancer? Sit back and enjoy the lively rhythms of L.A.-based Brazilian big band Bembolado with special guest Ted Falcon. Their repertory of Brazilian music classics is sure to keep your toes tapping all night long with a variety of styles from traditional forró and samba to bossa nova and zouk rhythms.
8PM-9PM: Beginner samba de gafieira class with guest instructors Jaguaray Santana & Tainah Damasceno. Learn the fundamentals of this fun, dynamic dance that originated in 20th-century Rio de Janeiro and is growing in popularity in the U.S. No partner or experience needed!
9PM-1AM: Live Brazilian big band Bembolado featuring guest musician Ted Falcon will keep your toes tapping with a variety of classics from Brazilian music's past & present. Samba, forró and other rhythms.
11:30PM-12AM (Approximate): A stellar lineup of guest artists will showcase their work in various styles of Brazilian dance: Danielle Lima (samba no pé), Aneska Franca (zouk), Jaguar & Tainah (samba de gafieira), and Gafieria Los Angeles (samba no pé + samba de gafieira)
