Welcome to Motivo LA

Motivo LA is a home for dance, music, and community in the heart of Atwater Village. Our vintage-inspired space was designed for connection - whether through the joy of learning to dance, the thrill of a live concert, or the shared experience of a social event.

We offer weekly dance classes in swing, tango, and more, along with social dances that bring people together on our beautiful sprung hardwood floors. Motivo also hosts concerts and creative music events, featuring world-class artists across jazz, swing, and beyond.

At its heart, Motivo LA is about presence, artistry, and authentic connection—celebrating the way movement and music can inspire empathy, creativity, and community.
